The Norwegian Emigration Center:

We can provide these services due to our nationwide sources available at the center.

Reading room:
Service is available at our well - equipped reading room with readers for microfilm, microfiche and Internet access.

Opening hours and fees:
Daily from 9. a. m. to 3. p. m.
Tuesdays: Till 7. p. m. (Sept. - April)
Weekends: For groups on request. Entrance fee: $ 5.00 per person per day.
Personal assistance: $ 30.00 by the hour

If you are not able to visit our center, we will do our best to assist you wherever you are in the world. Please fill out our form for genealogy research as accurately as possible. We charge a minimum fee of $ 60.00 for the first three hours plus a handling fee. For a more extensive research, we charge an additional $ 30.00 by the hour.
