Det norske utvandrersenteret - DNU

Det norske utvandrersenteret dokumenterer, forsker og formidler historien om norsk ut- og innvandring, og arbeider for å skape bedre kunnskap om og større forståelse for de prosesser som knytter seg til migrasjon som fenomen.  

DNU er også et "nasjonalt" slektsgranskingssenter og en idébank for utvikling av kulturbaserte reiselivsprodukter. Vi deltar derfor i en rekke aktiviteter knyttet til fagområdene migrasjon og slektsforskning i Norge og rundt om i verden.

DNU er en stiftelse som i stor grad finansieres gjennom eksterne prosjekter, men mottar også årlig driftsstøtte fra Rogaland fylkeskommune, Stavanger kommune og Tysvær kommune.
