Since 1986 The Norwegian Emigration Center has assisted thousands of people with Norwegian ancestry in tracing their roots.In most cases we have been able to gather valuable new information to people that have been trying in vain for years. We have also put a lot of effort and energy in making valuable sources like the passenger lists available on-line. However, there still is a long way to go before genealogy can be done through on-line sources only. If you don´t have the time to wait, we will be happy to help you.

In that case, we will kindly ask you to fill out our form for genealogy research as accurately as possible. We are taking pride in our job and will do our utmost to help you. However, there is no guarantee for success. If you face any problems, please contact us.
